Thanks to the lame-ass spammers, I’ve changed the policy for the site.

You must now be registered and logged in to comment on any of the posts.

I know this is a pain for some, but even with the spam filters it’s a full time job keeping on top of the crap.

New theme for site

The theme I was using for the site had some issues with the newest version of the blog software, so I had to change it.

I’ve tweaked this one a little big and really like it.

Please let me know what your opinion of it is.

Added ‘Reviewer Rating’ to the site

As you know I have a review section on the site, that doesn’t have a WHOLE lot in it, but I plan to add more in the very near future.

Because of this I’ve added a ‘Reviewer Rating’ for all hardware and software I review.

Just a nice visual if you don’t feal like reading the whole post.

Installed new iPhone / iPod Touch theme on site

Sweet!

I just installed the WPTouch plugin that, if you visit the site from iPhone or iPod Touch, will automatically detect it and load and iPhone theme.

It shouldn’t affect anything if you view it from any other device, but makes reading on the “i” devices MUCH easier.

Please let me know what you think of it.

Added Tutorial Category

I decided that some of the posts are going to be very tutorial-like in nature, such as this one.

Because of this I’ve added a new ‘Tutorials’ section.

If enough entries get added I’ll revamp it to make it easier to search and sort, but for right now at least you’ll be able to jump to the category and / or subscribe to the RSS feed.

What the heck does BuhBoo mean anyway?

My son is a HUGE Winnie the Pooh fan, but he’s not quite two yet so he can’t say “Winnie the Pooh”.

Recently he’s been saying “Pooh”, but he used to call him “Bah-boo”.

BuhBoo is as close as I could get to BahBoo. BaaBoo, Bahboo, Baboo and all other iterations I could think of were taken.. ARGGG!

I kind of like BuhBoo anyway, a tribute to my little guy and still kind of catchy.
