We got concrete
One step closer, now instead of a moat in the front yard we have a large concrete slab, but as far as our little guy is concerned “The man fixed the garden” so we’re all good.

Just about ready to pour the new foundation.
Well, it looks like we’re at the point that they’re just about ready to pour the new foundation.
The yard is dug out and it looks like the forms are pretty much up.

This is the first of the posts with the construction pictures.
This is before any construction had started, but after we cleared all the “crap” out of the front yard where the new addition was going.

Initial remodel plan
We started thinking about what we wanted to do for the addition.
We played with the idea of going up over the back of the house, but that was too expensive. We looked at going up over the garage, but didn’t really like the idea.. and it was also expensive.
We couldn’t go back because we have the pool in the back, so going forward was our only option.
First remodeling post
So, we’re getting ready to do a remodel on our house; the first demo is done, the dumpster got dropped off this morning and we have a port-a-potty in the driveway.. nice, an extra 1/4 bath!!
